This is awesome – totally to die for. Don’t make too many because it is so rich that you can only eat a small amount but most decided that we could skip the pizzas and go straight to the desert pizza next time.
BANANA AND CHOCOLATE DESERT PIZZA
Be totally creative here. This is what we had the choice of:
- Pizza dough
- brown sugar
- mini marshmallows
- milk chocolate melts
- white chocolate melts
- salted caramel desert sauce
- chocolate desert sauce
- mars bars PODS
- chocolate cream biscuits
- Strawberries / blueberries / raspberries
- nutella – if no nut allergies
- walnuts or pecans
- sultanas, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds (healthy alternative)
Stretch out the dough as described in the pizza post. Sprinkle semolina on the upturned pizza tray, place the dough on top.
Some of our successes:
*** Spread the pizza base with salted caramel sauce, add sliced banana, broken up PODS, marshmallows, brown sugar
*** Spread the base with nutella, or chocolate sauce, add chopped bananas, broken up chocolate melts, broken up chocolate biscuits, cover with marshmallows.
Cook only until the marshmallows and chocolate begin to melt.
